What: Meeting with JDL about Maryville Project
When: Thursday December 13th
Where: Clarendon Park Community Building (4501 N. Clarendon Ave.)
Time: 7:00pm
Why: Hear from  a JDL representative about their plans for the Maryville Project

JDL is a well established development company in Chicago.  They have purchased the rights to the Maryville property and have drawn up plans for us to look at.  Alderman Cappleman has called this meeting to continue the process of community input and everyone is invited. Buena Park Neighbors supports this process  and encourages anyone who is interested to attend.  This is a major development and will have a significant impact on Buena Park.  This property needs to be developed, but it needs to be done right.  Please make this a priority and come on the 13th.

Buena Park Neighbors is sponsoring a coat, hat, and glove drive this year.  Given the state of our economy, there is a large need for warm clothing items this year.   Last year we collected literally hundreds of items that we gave to families in need. Buena Park is a very generous community and we look forward to another good year of giving.  You will be able to drop items off at the following locations starting December 1: Thorek hospital (in the lobby), Dollop CoffeeWorld GymMichael’s Pizza, and Awake Cafe. Buena Park Neighbors thanks U-Haul for supplying boxes for the drive.
